Pepper spays offer many advantages as a self defense product. They have a range of 6-8 feet and can be used from a safe distance from an attacker. Pepper spays cause no permanent damage, so they can be used without fear of future legal repercussions.
Traditional forms of pepper sprays have been criticized for being limited it their effectiveness, because they may with someone who is deranged, severely intoxicated, or for some other reason in unresponsive to a pain reaction. The OC spray will also dilate the capillaries of the eye causing a temporary blindness. Lastly OC sprays cause an instant inflammation of breathing tissues, causing uncontrollable coughing fits and restricting all but life support breathing. In addition to being a superior defense product, spray products with OC formulations are a natural derivative of various hot pepper plants. There are no toxic chemicals in OC d sprays.
